For over 15 years, DayTradingCourse.com taught stock index futures daytraders, most recently the emini futures daytraders, how to daytrade using a highly personal one-on-one mentoring approach. While this training strategy works well for hundreds of students worldwide, they have stepped up their training with the recent addition of Daily Recap Webinars.
Testing several methods of student support revealed that a one hour webinar recap of that day’s trades accelerated student success better than all other tested support methods.
Subjects included in the Daily Recap Webinars are the instructor’s trades, students’ trades, student questions and comments about trades, trade entry, trade management (maximizing the profit of each trade), trade exit, trading software, trading psychology, and how to deal with psychological day trading traps.
One of the participating students from Edgewood, WA commented, "The webinars are amazingly valuable. The daily reinforcement about patterns, technique, mindset and attitude is just what students need. I don’t doubt that I'll become a better trader more quickly because of the hour that you and Mickey spend with us each day. The master-apprentice relationship is a powerful, time-tested way to transfer knowledge. For me, the webinar is dense, information-rich and thought-provoking. "
Further testing revealed that open microphones for all webinar attendees improved spontaneity and camaraderie, alleviating day traders’ common feeling of "being on an island."
Another student from Charlotte, NC expresses his appreciation for the webinars, "Guys, The webinars are outstanding. I find it very interesting and helpful to listen to the various points of view and questions which are raised from your other students. It also creates a feeling of camaraderie and helps counter the daily isolation inherent in this job."
As of January 2010, all new students of DayTradingCourse.com receive 3 months of these trade examining webinars included in their tuition. This valuable tool adds approximately 66 hours of continuing education to the student’s 5 days of One-on-One training. Using this integrated approach, the experienced trading mentor is focused on the aspiring trader-students. The overall goal for the webinars is to shorten the student’s learning curve to becoming an independent, successful trader.
