Daytrotter Studio Presented by Seagate to record exclusive band sessions at SXSW 2009

Daytrotter, the music discovery site, today announced, that together with Seagate (NASDAQ: STX), they return to Austin this week to capture, upload and share online the very best music featured at this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) music conference and festival. Daytrotter is the critically acclaimed site that enables consumers to sample the finest independent bands by free Mp3 download. A number of all-exclusive Daytrotter Sessions will be recorded at the Daytrotter Studio in Austin, TX and will include performances by artists such as The Strange Boys; Corto Maltese T-Bird and the Breaks; Glasvegas; The Hold Steady; Wild Beasts; Richard Swift; Diane Birch; Meat Puppets; Tricky; Peter, Bjorn & John; Silversun Pickups; Avett Brothers; The Soft Pack; Generationals; J Tillman; White Lies; and Daniel Johnston. Live recordings will be available for download at after the festival.
