Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 27, 2010
The University of Atlanta will launch the second cohort of its much-lauded Doctor of Business Administration degree program in Managerial Science in late in late April 2010. The first cohort, now in progress, is comprised of highly accomplished professionals (CEO’s and senior executives of major national and international corporations) and of distinguished university faculty seeking the challenges of earning a DBA. The institution did not intend to initiate a second cohort until late May or June, but the unanticipated level of demand by unanticipated number of qualified candidates has led to the decision concerning an earlier launch 2 date.
The primary objective of the program is to produce graduates able and eager to contribute to the advancement of their professions, who will meaningfully expand the base of knowledge within their areas of specialization and who can foster and disseminate a new awareness of contemporary strategic issues and practices. Recognized by the US Department of Education, the Council on Higher Education Accreditation, the American Council on Education, UNESCO, the Department of Veterans Affairs and accredited by the Council on the Distance Education and Training Council, the University of Atlanta is comprised of eight colleges., through which it offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees as well as Graduate Certificates in an array of professional fields.
Founded in 2006 and licensed by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission, accredited by DETC in 2008, the University has experienced significant growth and expansion since that time. Named after the city which is home to its flagship campus, the institution has administrative offices (some equipped with Study Centers) in Beijing, Beirut, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Malaysia, Paris, Sharjah, Singapore and Taiwan.
