HiBase Group today announces DBF Viewer 2000, the newest version of the popular DBF database viewer with the editing capabilities that offers new enhancements. The latest release enables users to search and replace data in all fields, preview before print and export to SQL server flawlessly.
DBF Viewer offers all the tools and options to let database administrators view and edit all types of DBF databases, without the need for their organization to buy dedicated database creation packages such as Clipper, dBase, FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, Visual dBase. In addition to this versatility, the program stands out for its ease and feature set. To edit a database, DBF Viewer and DBF editor dynamically generates visual dialogs based on the structure of the DBF file, so users can edit records naturally as if they were using native dbf applications. One can add, edit, delete and rename database fields, query by example, remove duplicates, search and replace data. Unlike other tools, the program can edit memo fields in dBase III, dBase IV, FoxPro, Visual Foxpro and dBase Level 7.
From the data exchange perspective, DBF Viewer 2000 has everything to move data between a variety of formats. For example, it’s possible to import data from TXT, CSV, Excel (XLS, XLSX) and DBF. Also a DBF file can be converted to Excel (XLS, XLSX), CSV, TXT, SQL, SDF, XML, HTML, PRG, plus MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL scripts.
DBF Viewer 2000 runs on all versions of Windows: Windows XP, Vista, Seven and Server Editions (32/64-bit). To connect to a database, the program does not require additional drivers (ODBC, BDE), or database engines.
