With a growing trend toward destination weddings, the Downtown Delray Beach Development Authority hopes to show how Downtown Delray Beach is a hidden gem when it comes to destination weddings, anniversaries and more. On Friday, April 19th during the DDA’s monthly Fabulous Third Friday events will include special designer trunk showings, open house events, fashion shows, culinary tastings and hair demonstrations. Downtown shops, restaurants and hotels are thrilled to share their celebration specialty throughout the entire month to all, from brides to those celebrating years of wedding bliss.
Downtown Delray Beach has loads to offer, it is more accessible and affordable than remote islands, and offers everything a wedding party could ask for in a destination: beautiful tropical settings, spectacular beaches, variety of venues, relaxing spas, world class salons, and a multitude of fun activities. Laura Simon, Associate Director, DDA exclaimed, “You do not need to go anywhere else – we have it all including exceptional customer service!”
In addition to the special events this month, there are few other places guests can visit to provide the small town charm, fine dining, boutique shopping, outdoor water adventures, and exciting nightlife. This eclectic mix means that Downtown Delray Beach offers something for everyone, making it ideal when it comes to brides, grooms, wedding parties, and guests with different tastes.
