Dean A. Esposito’s popular wind surfing summer camp, called “Surfin N Lovin,” is starting its summer registration and is expected to attract well over 400 surfing enthusiasts.

"Last year we served 350 campers. This year we are expecting 50-100 more campers because we have hired more staff, and are better able to handle a bigger load,” said Dean A. Esposito, the camp’s program director.

The camp starts a week after students begin their summer vacation and ends two weeks prior to their return to school. Overall lasting about six weeks.

“Summer vacation is about relaxation and catching up on reading or school-related assignments, I think it is important to allow time for the kids to play, yet they still must complete their educational duties,” Dean A. Esposito said.

The cost for the camp is $415 and includes all wind surfing gear. The camp is designed for children of all ages. Children have to bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks, and no transportation is provided. Dean A. Esposito offers before-and after-camp care for a nominal fee.

"Dean A. Esposito's summer camp is great fun for any kid who likes the ocean, I'm planning on sending my sons this coming summer," said Roth Gold, of Myrtle Beach.

Parents may register their children at the local community center.
