Toolbox has disclosed details of its newest web launch: Decorating Tools. Toolbox has been on the front line of innovation in online retail since 1999 and its newest website is no exception.

The Decorating Tools website offers a comprehensive selection of products at low prices.

The products themselves cover a wide variety of decorating tasks and the prominent navigation bar illustrates this as tools are divided into tasks such as ‘painting’ or ‘tiling’. Products for any task are, as a result, easy to find. The products are all of high quality and the site lists products manufactured by Silverline, Stanley and DeWalt and countless other big name brands. Tools we found on the website included numerous: brushes, rollers, paint pads, step ladders, lamps, knifes, tapes, tables, spray guns, sanders and so many other products they can’t all be listed here.

Product listings include descriptions, photos, stock updates and prices. We can also reveal that the site will possibly have videos demonstrating products in the near future.

Mark Canfield, Commercial manager of Toolbox explained:

“We know that when it comes to online shopping many people are unwilling to buy something that they can’t physically see. However, we’ve tried to provide clear product listings so the customer understands what they are buying. We are always looking to expand our business into new areas and Decorating Tools is a great way to expand our loyal customer base by providing the same quality service to products like wallpapering tools rather than shower enclosures.”

Toolbox has been trading online since 1999; as a result the company has built up a large amount of expertise regarding web design and retail.

Anthony Langston, Web administrator of Toolbox, said:

“We spent a long time perfecting the website. It’s been tested very thoroughly so that we can be sure our customers don’t encounter any problems whilst browsing the site. We have a great team at Toolbox who are working constantly to make sure that everything works as it should.”

The site boasts great design and a host of useful features. As you would expect from a forward thinking company the site is integrated with numerous social networks, social news sites and bookmarking websites. If all that sounds too complicated to inexperienced internet users, there are plenty of features to simplify the shopping experience. The site enjoys secure payment, numerous safety features, and a straightforward design that makes browsing and shopping on the website effortless.

Toolbox is based in Evesham, Worcestershire and now employs 50 staff within their 2,000 sqm, purpose built warehouse and offices. The company had a turnover in 2008 in excess of £18 Million. Toolbox was established in 1999 by James and Anita Hickman who sold the business to The Grafton Group Plc in December 2006.
