For the first time, Dejan SEO will be sponsoring the Digital Summit Conference, held in Atlanta over the 9th and 10th of May this year. Following on from the success of the 2011 event, the conference is set to be the biggest event of its kind held in Atlanta this year with over 50 presentations, more than 75 different speakers and almost 1, 500 attendees converging upon the Georgian capital.
With presentation topics spanning the full spectrum of digital media such as: cloud computing, internet usability and online advertising, Dejan SEO will fit right in with its contemporaries.
The Australian SEO company, which has been operating in the online marketing space for over a decade, is no stranger to the international market, working with companies such as PayPal, Groupon, Freelancer, and Atlassian. This event marks the beginning of Dejan SEO’s official global outreach and is the start of many ventures outside of its homestead in Australia, where it has offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Dejan SEO is sending its very own general manager, Simon Phillips, from their main Brisbane office, to hold down the fort at their sponsorship stand. Simon will be answering questions regarding search engine optimisation and internet marketing in general. Based on his many years in the industry, Simon is very knowledgeable on digital media and is looking forward to exchanging ideas with his fellow attendees.
The exciting program features many notable guests from the digital media industry, including executives from Twitter, Mashable and Adobe. Presenters to keep an eye out for include Michael Greer from popular internet humour site The Onion, as well as Jack Krawczyk from innovative social bookmarking site Stumbleupon. Internet giants such as Youtube, AOL and Google will also be represented.
The city of Atlanta serves as the backdrop for the event. Home to over 5 million people, making it the 9th largest city in the US, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis and ideal candidate for host city for the event, now in its second year.
The Digital Summit Conference is being put on by TechMedia, who produce other internet industry conferences such as Digital East and Internet Summit, and have been staging conferences with a tech slant since 2001.
