Deltek Concludes Inaugural EMEA Customer Conference After Resounding Success
New customer win announcements and industry keynotes highlight the event.

(NASDAQ: PROJ), the leading provider of enterprise applications software for project-focused organisations, today announced that the company concluded its first EMEA customer conference at Vinopolis in London. The event was created as a forum for Deltek’s EMEA customers to collaborate with each other and learn best practices for managing their project-focused businesses. Over eighty customer attendees joined Deltek executives at the conference to discuss industry trends and hear about the future product directions for Deltek’s industry-leading Vision and Enterprise Project Management solutions.
The conference consisted of a full day of presentations from Deltek senior executives as well as two keynote presentations from industry speakers. The first keynote was delivered by Dr. Victoria Harris, CEO of Article 25 –- the operational UK registered charity that designs, builds, and manages projects to provide better shelter wherever there is disaster, poverty, or need. Dr Harris spoke about the charity and Deltek’s sponsorship of an orphanage in Lesotho, Africa. The other keynote was delivered by Bill Harroun, Head of Programme Controls for CLM – the delivery partner for the Olympic Delivery Authority for the 2012 Olympics. Mr. Harroun provided an update on the Olympics project and highlighted how Deltek’s Earned Value Management (EVM) solutions have helped manage the costs associated with delivering a successful Olympic Games.
The strong attendance at the event by Deltek customers confirms the significant momentum that Deltek is generating in the EMEA marketplace. At the conference, Deltek announced that it has acquired eight new Deltek Vision customers in the EMEA region since October 30th. One of the signature new wins announced was with the Customer Conference (UNEP-WCMC). UNEP-WCMC chose Deltek’s Vision solution to deliver comprehensive financial management, project management, and resource management capabilities. Deltek also announced that hurleypalmerflatt, a UK-based independent engineering consultancy, purchased Deltek Vision to provide a unified financial management and resource management solution that will support their aggressive growth plans.
In addition to the customer announcements, Deltek also provided an update on their Vision and Enterprise Project Management suites, key solutions that form the foundation of Deltek’s offering to the European marketplace.
