Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) February 15, 2012
As a cosmetic dentist in Phoenix, Dr. Jonathan Coombs provides services in a wide range of procedures including porcelain veneers, Invisalign®, and dental restorations. Dr. Coombs recently announced the latest addition to his repertoire of innovative technology: the CEREC® MC XL, a manufacturing device that fabricates crowns, fillings, and other restorative dentistry procedures in-office to minimize drilling and dental visits. He says offering the new procedure allows him to produce accurate dental restorations during a patient’s visit that can help enhance comfort and satisfaction.
Developed by Sirona, a global dental equipment company, the CEREC® MC XL device offers quick production of the full-contour crowns and bridges needed to correct chipped and missing teeth through the use of precise computer mapping software. Because the restorations are created while patients are in the office, Dr. Coombs says the entire process is simplified and expedited, meaning fewer injections, reduced dental visits, and less drilling.
Dr. Coombs says he is excited about the new technology’s capability to offer his patients a more positive dental experience and a more comfortable way of enjoying the benefits of a healthy, beautiful smile. He also adds that through new instruments such as the CEREC® MC XL, he hopes to continue pursuing the latest in dental technology and further improve the level of patient care available at his practice.
