The face of dental marketing is constantly evolving. Video content – whether in the form of patient testimonials, doctors welcome videos, or educational website video – is increasingly important to dental patients trying to find a dentist online. Unfortunately, many dentists don’t know where to start.

“The Dental Video Revolution” series from the Internet Dental Alliance (IDA) aims to solve that problem. These free lessons will offer a broad view of the importance of web video marketing and offer specific suggestions for implementation.

“One of the most exciting new technologies out there is video sharing,” explains Jim Du Molin, a former dental consultant and founder of IDA. “I’m offering this free Video Revolution program to tell dentists all they need to know to make the most of online video marketing.”

Du Molin’s introductory video can now be seen at Over the coming weeks, Du Molin will be releasing additional videos on subjects including how dentists can add video testimonials to their websites, how to easily set up a mini video studio, how to script videos, and how to integrate video content with an overall dental website marketing program.

“Our research shows that consumer interest in dentistry has been rising dramatically since the new year,” explains Du Molin. “This good news is mirrored by a dropping unemployment rate. Economic indicators are positive. Now that consumers have more discretionary dollars available to spend on dental care, it’s the perfect time to take advantage of this with an internet dental marketing campaign.”
