New dental marketing websites from Internet Dental Alliance give dentists the option to set up dedicated phone numbers that let them track new patient calls and maximize conversions.

One of the powerful new dental marketing options available from Internet Dental Alliance, Inc. (IDA) is "Call Tracking". Dentists can display a toll-free phone number on each of their Web Portals that enables them to gather important lead generation data about prospective patients, as well as conversion data about their front desk team – all from their dental websites.

The "Call Tracking" option can be managed from the practice's online Control Panel, and maximizes online dental marketing campaigns whether dentists have just one IDA Portal or several Portals for multiple locations or dental markets.

“Call tracking is one of the best ways to monitor the effectiveness of your dental marketing strategy,” explains Jim Du Molin, founder of Internet Dental Alliance and a former dental consultant. “Call tracking lets you compare your different dental marketing campaigns side-by-side. It lets you see which cities are producing the most new patients for your practice.”

The new patient data that's collected includes phone number, city, state and, Zip code, as well as date, time and duration of the call. From the dental practice end, the doctor can opt to record calls for skill evaluation and training in converting appointment requests.

“Call recording – if you use the option -- lets you see how well your team is converting that appointment request into a new patient in your chair,” adds Du Molin. “If your team isn’t handling calls properly, you could be losing up to half of your leads at the front desk. Call recording is the only way you’re ever going to really know what’s going on when that prospective patient calls in for the first time.”

Call recording is automatically turned "On" in the Control Panel. Dentists can turn it off completely or put a specific phone number temporarily on “Pause”. IDA recommends that dentists who choose to record calls get a written release from each team member stating that they are aware they may be recorded.
