It is a way to say thank you to our patients and the communities that our teams serve.

La Crosse, Wisconsin (PRWEB) September 17, 2012

Neighborhood Smiles offices in La Crosse, Onalaska, and West Salem have purchased a large number of tickets to the Johnny Cash Tribute Show for their patients as a way to raise money for local charities. Organized by the La Crosse Professional Police Non-Supervisory Association, the concert and fundraiser will raise money for The La Crosse Area Crime Stoppers, the local chapter of the Special Olympics, Freedom Honor Flight for veterans in the La Crosse area, and D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), and other youth programs.

“Because we are committed to supporting our communities, we have chosen to participate with the La Crosse Police Association by purchasing tickets for our patients and their families to attend the association's first-annual benefit show,” said Vicki McManus, owner of the Neighborhood Smiles locations. “It is a way to say thank you to our patients and the communities that our teams serve.”

All Neighborhood Smiles offices are dedicated to caring for family dental problems and helping patients improve overall oral health.

The first-ever benefit show will take place Saturday, Sept. 22, and consists of a 90-minute performance by international artist Terry Lee Goffee, The Ultimate Johnny Cash Tribute Artist. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the concert begins at 6 p.m. The location of the venue is at the University of Wisconsin’s La Crosse Valhalla Theatre, 1725 State St. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Anyone interested in providing additional donations to the fundraiser, of course, is welcome to do so when they attend the event.
