Maspeth, NY (PRWEB) February 22, 2014

Dentist in Maspeth Dr. Alexandra Khaimov will be providing emergency dental care at not cost as part of her growing annual effort to serve those who don’t have the money to go to the dentist.

The Emergency Dental Care Day will be held on Tuesday February 27th from 10am to 4pm at 69-77 Grand Ave., Maspeth, NY 11378.

Realizing that many people are struggling in the current economy, Grand Smile Dental owner Dr. Khaimov wants to give people, who couldn't otherwise afford it, an opportunity to take care of dental problems before they become more serious, and more costly.

Free dental services, including fillings, emergency root canals, extractions, toothache treatments, and more, will be provided, at NO COST, to as many people as can be seen beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m., on a first come, first serve basis. No appointments. One emergency treatment per patient.

Maspeth NY Dentist Dr. Alexandra Khaimov, sees many patients a month. Yet, according to her, owner of Grand Smile Dental, “We see an amazing number of people who need treatment and can’t afford it. We come across this every day. So I decided that we needed to address this serious health issue.”

Dr. Khaimov considers the cost of the giveaway in staff time and supplies as “not really important.”

“What is important is that people understand the two main problems in dental care — tooth decay and gum disease — and that they are both preventable with good hygiene and regular visits to the dentist.”

Dr. Khaimov added, “We will be conducting similar community events in Maspeth periodically throughout the year to help the less fortunate in our community.”
