Due to the overwhelming success of the Safe and Sober program, we’ve expanded it to include Pueblo and Pueblo West. We encourage everyone to drink responsibly, but if you need a safe way home this St. Patrick’s Day, the ride is on us.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (PRWEB) March 05, 2012
Four years and more than 6,000 cab rides later, McDivitt Law Firm’s Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program will be available on St. Patrick’s Day for adults who have had too much to drink or need a safe way home. In addition to servicing Colorado Springs, the program will now be offered in Pueblo and Pueblo West.
Don’t Leave It to Luck—Get a Safe Ride Home
The Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program is for adults who have been drinking or who don’t have a safe way home. Rides will be available in Colorado Springs from 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, through 3 a.m., on Sunday, March 18.
“Due to the overwhelming success of the Safe and Sober program, we’ve expanded it to include Pueblo and Pueblo West," said attorney Mike McDivitt, founder of McDivitt Law Firm. "We encourage everyone to drink responsibly, but if you need a safe way home this St. Patrick’s Day, the ride is on us.”
For a free ride home, call one of the following cab companies and tell them your home is on McDivitt Law Firm:
Colorado Springs: Call Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs at (719) 777-7777.
Pueblo & Pueblo West: Call City Cab of Pueblo at (719) 543-2525.
Rides are provided to an individual’s residence—not to other drinking locations. Due to the high number of ride requests on St. Patrick’s Day, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate all requests. Drivers have the right to use their discretion when accepting fares.
Safe and Sober Free Ride Home Program
The professionals at McDivitt Law Firm work with clients who have lost loved ones in alcohol-related crashes. To assist in the fight against drunk driving, the firm encourages individuals to make responsible choices by providing free cab rides on St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween, and New Year’s Eve.
McDivitt Law Firm’s Safe and Sober program continues to receive recognition from the community. In January 2012, U.S. Army Major General Joseph Anderson presented a certificate of recognition to the law firm for its ongoing efforts that help protect soldiers at Fort Carson. In September 2010, the firm was honored by the Pikes Peak DUI Task Force for its efforts to prevent drunk driving.
