Diesel Specialists, LLC recently committed itself even further to the continued support of the aging diesel engine made by Detroit Diesel with the launch of its newest ecommerce site at http://www.detroitdieselpartsdirect.com.

“There are still tens of thousands of Detroit Diesel two stroke engines here in the United States and even more abroad. Most manufacturers have been so focused on new technologies that they have eliminated their training and inventory for these engines over the past 5 to10 years,” says Whit Kellam, President of Diesel Specialists, LLC. “Although we are not an authorized Detroit Diesel dealer, we fill that void by supplying expertise, engine remanufacturing services and genuine and aftermarket parts to customers around the globe. Our new ecommerce site is a major step in improving the ease with which owners of these engines can access the inventory and expertise they require.”

To further reinforce this commitment, the company just recently purchased an additional $200,000 worth of Detroit Diesel parts and engines to supplement its existing one-million dollar diesel engine inventory.

“We are very confident in our abilities and want to ensure that we have the parts customers require, when they require them,” says Kellam.

Diesel Specialists, LLC was founded in 1979 and has become one of the largest independent parts distributors in the Southeast. Diesel Specialists, LLC is an authorized distributor for Perkins, Deutz, Northern Lights, Isuzu, and Westerbeke engines, and also provides parts and service for Detroit Diesel, Cummins and Caterpillar engines. Its first ecommerce site, http://www.dieselpartsdirect.com, continues to dominate ecommerce sites dedicated to the heavy duty diesel industry. Diesel Specialists, LLC is committed to the support of all of its diesel engine lines by creating a series of ecommerce sites dedicated to each individual engine line. Each specialized site is loaded with inventory, technical data, access to parts and service manuals, and information for those engine lines.
