Private Island Entertainment today announced plans to work with A Place Called Home in Los Angeles, California this fall, providing neon wigs to underserved youth in an attempt to set the world record for largest gathering of people with neon wigs.
Private Island Entertainment LLC is a party and costume supply company based in New York. This Halloween season, the company has planned to attempt to set two Guinness World records in their coast-to-coast record breaking Halloween campaigns.
The first record will be attempted in New York in late September in conjunction with a model search. The second record attempt will be held on the west coast in partnership with a Los Angeles based charity, A Place Called Home, during their annual Halloween Party.
“I am particularly excited about the world record campaign on the west coast,” said Jon Glatt, President of Private Island Entertainment LLC. “We will be working with A Place Called Home as we plan the fun record attempt this fall. It will give all of the kids there a once in a lifetime chance to break a Guinness World Record and we hope that it will help these kids realize that they can achieve any goal if they work hard and set their minds to it.”
A Place Called Home is a non-profit youth center. Their goal is to help youth stay in school, pursue higher education, and enjoy successful careers. They give underserved youth the tools they need to develop into active, contributing citizens and community leaders.
