Diamond Resorts Corporation Announces David F. Palmer as President and Chief Financial Officer

Global hospitality and vacation ownership company moves financial investment, business development and merger and acquisition expert into top operational leadership position

Diamond Resorts International® (Diamond), a global leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industries, today announced that David F. Palmer has assumed the position of President and Chief Financial Officer, Diamond Resorts Corporation with immediate effect. Palmer will assume the responsibilities of president and chief financial officer for Diamond Resorts Corporation and its subsidiary and trade companies.

David Palmer, as president and chief financial officer will oversee worldwide operations and management and, with his years of financial investment, business development and merger and acquisition expertise will continue to position Diamond as a worldwide hospitality and vacation ownership leader.

Previously the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Diamond Resorts International®, Palmer was instrumental in successfully guiding Diamond through the global economic crisis over the past two and half years and has championed and secured significant financial stability for the company. Prior to joining Diamond, Palmer was a principal with Vision Capital Partners LLC; was also a founder of Velocity Capital LLC; and a managing director of Trivergance LLC. He has extensive experience both as a financial executive and private equity investor specializing in consumer-oriented companies and industry consolidations. Palmer received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and earned a B.A. in Chemical Physics from Hamilton College.
