Daydream, leading European digital asset management (DAM) specialists, have released new email and merchandise extensions for their FocusOPEN digital asset management platform.

E-SHOT OPEN STUDIO
The E-Shot Open Studio provides users with features to store, edit and dispatch email campaigns, direct from the digital asset management system. "We identified that email was a key media in most marcomms arsenals and determined that a digital asset management system that enabled marketers to create, dispatch and monitor email campaigns from within the same system would be a real advantage for marketing departments. So far the response from our clients has been wholly positive," explains Emma Tappenden, Marketing Director of Daydream.

Key features of the E-Shot Open Studio include: Editable email templates for users to amend copy and images in HTML emails, comprehensive list management with de-duping and data cleansing features, full email tracking and reporting (including bounce-back, click-thru and unsubscribe statistics and distribution management features) and deliverability analysis and scheduling tools.

"We are confident that the E-Shot Open Studio will add real value to our FocusOPEN digital asset management platform and with our recently added support for promotional goods and merchandising, will provide marketers with everything they need for complete corporate marketing resource management," she concluded.

Merchandise Open Studio:
The Merchandise Open Studio provides users with features to order promotional goods from suppliers and integrates physical product ordering direct within the digital asset management system. "Our substantial experience with marketing departments in large corporations has taught us that marcomms assets aren't just constrained to digital media," explained Emma Tappenden, Marketing Director of Daydream. "Often marcomms will use a range of physical promotional items, such as t-shirts, mugs, keyrings, mouse mats and stationery to communicate their message to staff, clients and prospects alike. It is crucial that any modern digital asset management system addresses the management of these assets, in addition to digital media like photos and video."

Key features of the Merchandise Open Studio include: Full supply chain integration to ensure end-to-end supply chain management, real-time stock information, multi-currency pricing, seamless ingestion of product images and metadata (from ERP or similar systems), budget management (regional, per business unit, etc.) and full order reporting and auditing.

"Along with support for customisable print collateral, video, images, office files and email marketing, the Merchandise Open Studio represents yet another marketing resource management tool we can offer our clients," she concluded.
