Digital signage software company provides digital display and signage bundles in partnership with Planar.

MediaSignage, Inc. (DBA, provider of enterprise and entry-level digital signage hardware and software announces partnership with Planar for providing commercial digital signage displays to customers large and small. The company’s latest push into commercial-grade displays for digital signage is part of a company-wide expansion effort to provide end-to-end solutions for digital signage projects both small and large.

“Our expanded effort with Planar for providing solutions for commercial digital signage displays is part of a more holistic solutions effort for our customers,” says company President Nate Nead. “Our foray into the low-margin area of commercial LCDs has been in the works for some time,” he says. “We started this holistic outreach effort last year when we added several content developers to our team. We have now successfully completed the circle by adding digital displays. Providing a complete solution for all the requisite hardware, software, content and service means MediaSignage customers have a proverbial ‘one-stop-shop’ for all their digital signage needs.”

Unlike lower-quality consumer-grade digital display screens, MediaSignage chose to partner with a provider that could bring the quality features that are often sought in a commercial display. That is where Planar plays a key role. “We chose Planar to assist in providing a quality line-up of commercial units, knowing they would supply the enterprise-level solution demanded by many of our clients.” The complete line-up of displays is now available on the company website:

As part of the push toward providing all hardware and software for digital signage, the folks at MediaSignage are now providing bundled packages which include an Android-based digital signage player, a display screen from Planar and the necessary software to run a quality digital sign or digital menu board. “We are excited to provide a solution that gives our customers a truly plug-and-play experience for their digital signage needs,” says Sean Levy, MediaSignage CEO.

Not only is the company moving to provide a holistic suite of solutions for its clients, but the founding engineers continue to push the envelope for providing the highest quality digital signage software on the market at some of the most reasonable rates available. Even with the current features of the company’s enterprise solution, the company is pushing hard at developing GPU-enabled touchscreen enhancement and control from the company’s flagship SignageStudio. New enhanced touchscreen capabilities are slated for release in Q1 and Q2 2017. “We are in an exciting time in the growth of the company and the industry at large and we expect our customers will appreciate the added value we are working to bring on both the hardware and software,” says Levy.
