BIA Digital Partners Acquires Douglas Publications; Company Changes Name to Briefings Media Group, LLC; Finn and Murrill Promoted

BIA DP Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of BIA Digital Partners LP, recently acquired the assets of Douglas Publications LLC and changed its name to Briefings Media Group, LLC.

BIA Digital Partners is a private investment firm that makes mezzanine investments in mid- to later- stage companies. Douglas Publications is a business information resources company headquartered in Richmond, VA that produces newsletters, training tools, magazines, directories and websites. BIA Digital Partners originally invested in the company in January 2005 in conjunction with the company's acquisition of the Briefings Publishing Group from Wicks Business Information (WBI) of Fairfield, CT.
