LONDON (PRWEB) September 14, 2018
Digital Science is proud to announce a collaboration with the University of Rochester that will provide campus-wide access to a powerful discovery tool, Dimensions. With the Dimensions implementation, the university will enable their researchers to quickly identify potential collaborators, understand the competitive landscape and monitor discoveries in their fields.
Dimensions offers a unique approach to existing tools by linking a variety of research-related data sources and providing an integrated and holistic view of the entire research landscape. Users can explore more than 96 million publications, over 4 million awarded grants, 37 million patents, 425 thousand clinical trials, and nearly 370 thousand policy documents.
This partnership will allow University of Rochester researchers to explore contextualized publications and analyze their academic and broader impacts. Additionally, access to the new tool facilitates one-click access to more than 19 million Open Access articles to further expand the influence of their library collections.
Christian Herzog, CEO and co-founder of Dimensions, adds, "New papers are published worldwide at a rate of 1 million per year. With Dimensions, we aim to reduce barriers and make it as simple as possible to find the most relevant research. We are delighted to partner with the University of Rochester and hope to transform their access to research.”
