SmartWatt Energy announced today that they have met the mid-year energy efficiency targets set by National Grid, for their Small & Medium Business Direct Install Program in Central and Northern NY, and are on pace to exceed all goals by the end of 2011. SmartWatt Energy is the sole Program Administrator and Implementation Contractor for this program in Central and Northern NY, which has been implemented to help business customers increase energy-efficiency, while helping National Grid assist the State of New York in meeting its overall goal of reducing electricity usage by 15% by 2015.
