When we think of businesses expanding, we think Silicon Valley, California is the place to be. After all, Google, HP, Cisco and Facebook have made their homes there. Lately, however, there has been an influx of businesses such as Dish Network retailers, aircraft manufacturers and others congregating in Florida, which is great news for job seekers looking for employment opportunities.

Mayor Susan Whelchel of Boca Raton, Florida, recently attended a Grand Opening ceremony for Infinity Sales Group, LLC in January of 2011, a retailer of Dish Network satellite TV. Whelchel spoke about the company’s ribbon-cutting experience during a Rotary Club luncheon on January 26th with a sense of wonder and excitement.

“They brought in 450 new jobs and announced 200 more,” Whelchel said. “I know things are changing, I see it. I feel it.”

As a retailer company for Fortune 200 partners, Infinity Sales Group / Infinity Dish is the largest authorized retailer for Dish Network satellite TV in North America. Increasing from 50 to 450 new employees, Infinity Sales Group is one of the fastest growing employers in Palm Beach County, and the best is yet to come, as Infinity Sales Group announced that they will be creating 200 more jobs over the next two years in their Florida offices.

The trend does not just apply to white-collar jobs. Recently, Boca Raton hosted the National Business Aviation Association’s daylong forum on all things airplanes. According to the South Florida Business Journal, the association represents more than 8,000 companies. The NBAA announced that Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, will be looking to add jobs to its assembling plant in Jacksonville, Florida. Embraer’s belief in a global presence has led them to Florida, and the company has grown to be one of the largest aviation manufacturing companies in the world.

Certainly, businesses are finding their homes in Florida, and it’s not hard to figure out why. Florida is an ideal place to live, and companies like Infinity Sales Group have come to the conclusion that happier employees equal bigger returns. According to their company credo, Infinity Sales Group strives to promote unity within the company through excellence in communication and work processes. The company also has a reputation of providing involvement, recognition and advancement opportunities to their associates. In addition, they are actively hiring Sales Agents and other personnel year-round as part of their staff.

Currently, Infinity Sales Group utilizes a space of about 35,000 square feet in Boca Raton with plenty of room to expand as their list of partners continues to grow.
