“Organizations have a huge content management and distribution challenge due to the proliferation of marketing channels. What we offer is a solution that streamlines and optimizes the marketing distribution process."
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 21, 2013
Gleanster Research & The CMO Council have released a variety of recent research reports indicating the difficulties that many brands are having in optimizing, distributing and managing content across more channels than ever before. Effectively optimizing, distributing and managing content across channels (the essence of distributed marketing management software) is proving to be a major advantage for brands. Key findings include:
1. Large majorities of companies are struggling to find balance between corporate marketing and local marketing efforts. The CMO Council noted that 61% of marketers surveyed ranked the need to better localize content and messaging a high priority in 2013. Gleanster observed 93% of distributed marketing organizations said that one of the biggest challenges was balancing the conflicting needs of local marketers and corporate marketing.
2. Use of technology has corporate & local marketers at odds. According to Gleanster, corporate & local marketers using separate technologies leads to ineffective marketing communications strategies to be pursued far longer than they should because the metrics don’t exist to prove they don’t work. Additionally, too much local level customization can cause issues with brand compliance, a concern of corporate marketers.
3. Use of distributed marketing management software is a key component of top performers. Gleanster stated that that top performing companies were 7 times more likely to have implemented distributed marketing management software. Centralized marketing control at the corporate level in conjunction with efficient local customization has proven to be a beneficial balance for enhancing marketing outcomes and corporate financial performance.
None of this comes as a surprise to Distribion. CEO Tim Storer noted:
“Organizations have a huge content management and distribution challenge due to the proliferation of marketing channels. What we offer is a solution that streamlines and optimizes the marketing distribution process, maintains brand and corporate messaging requirements and provides valuable insight into all marketing activities.”
2012 forecasts by leading analysts estimated that the market for distributed marketing software is approximately two billion dollars. Distribion is extremely well positioned in this segment and will continue to be. For example, in 2012, Distribion was named the 4th fastest growing company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by the Metroplex Technology Business Council, due to a 576% growth rate.
