Janet Powers, Chief Executive Diva, Diva Toolbox, LLC, announced today that Diva Toolbox has selected Vocus, Inc. as the premier sponsor of the February, 2012 Diva Toolbox Promote Me Conference for Women in Business.

Vocus, a leading provider of cloud-based marketing and PR software, will host the Conference at its corporate headquarters in Beltsville, MD. The event, on February 9, 2012, will bring together women business owners from around the globe.

Powers says, "We selected Vocus as the premier and exclusive sponsor of the Conference for two reasons: their extensive knowledge on how small businesses can leverage the media for business success, and their commitment to creating easy and cost-effective technology solutions for small business owners to reach customers on search engines, across social networks and through the media."

“Vocus customers love our commitment to making it easy for businesses to communicate and market to their customers,” says Hunter Montgomery, VP of Marketing Operations at Vocus. “We recognize that same commitment to business growth in Diva Toolbox, which helps an extensive community of savvy and successful women achieve business success.”

The conference, now in its third year, was created as a forum for women business owners to help each other’s businesses grow bigger and faster. Women-owned businesses continue to grow at a rate twice that of other businesses.

"I know how to use technology to do more for less and I know first-hand how the media can spread my message to a larger audience faster and cheaper than I can do on my own," says Janet Powers. "My team is committed to educating every business professional in our community on how to do the same, and how to track the results in terms of revenue and business growth."

At the conference, attendees will network with one another, learn about new products, services and technologies, and participate in educational workshops and keynote sessions. Among the highlights are sessions on marketing to women, entrepreneurial myths, financial strategies for growth, and how to use social media and video to attract new clients.
