The Top 3 organization, consisting of the highest ranking enlisted members here and the 94th Airlift Wing Human Resource Development Council recruited dozens of volunteers from Dobbins and several community members and leaders to assist in cleaning up the cemetery which has become overgrown. The last scheduled cleanup of the cemetery took place nearly a decade ago. This is a coordinated effort to maintain the cemetery and give proper respect to those individuals who are buried there.

The old Jonesville cemetery was created in the mid to late 1800s and belonged to the town of Jonesville prior to 1942.

Any media wanting to cover the event on base should call the 94th Public Affairs Office by February 18 and ask for Shaun Shenk 678-655-5055 or e-mail 94AW(dot)PAV3(at)us(dot)af(dot)mil for escort arrangements.
