Our document management solutions are a perfect fit for library applications and we look forward to participating once again in this targeted conference.

Document management company, MES Hybrid Document Systems, Inc., announces it will be exhibiting at the upcoming Ontario Library Association (“OLA”) Super Conference 2013 to be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center January 30 – February 2, 2013. Located in booth number 905, the company will be highlighting four solutions:

  •     Newspaper Scanning Services – MES Hybrid Document Systems will demonstrate how to convert newspaper collections, in either paper or microfilm formats, into word searchable, digital PDFs.
  •     UScan Microfilm Scanner – In a compact design, the UScan scanner is able to read, scan, print, email and save images from roll microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards and photographic materials. Considered a “best-in-class” microfilm conversion solution, the new UScan takes the place of four separate scanners.
  •     zeta Book Scanner – Ideal in a library application, the zeta Book Scanner scans to a USB drive, saving paper and helping organizations achieve “green” initiatives. New technology has improved quality, speed and operation for this bound book scanner.
  •     FileBound Express – This document management system is designed to help libraries manage their business documents and streamline back-office operations. Users plug the Express appliance into the network to scan paper documents, import images from an office copier, and save electronic documents from popular office applications.

The Ontario Library Association is Canada's largest library organization and the Super Conference event is the country’s leading library trade show. The event is billed as the “ultimate library experience” and this year’s theme is to “educate, entertain and empower” attendees.

“Because of its focus solely on libraries, the OLA Super Conference 2013 is a valuable event for us,” said Kevin D’Arcy, vice president of sales and marketing at MES Hybrid Document Systems, Inc. “Our document management solutions are a perfect fit for library applications and we look forward to participating once again in this targeted conference.”
