The Maricopa County 2010 Charitable Golf Classic was held Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, AZ. The event included an awards luncheon as well as an auction, which also benefited the Valley of the Sun United Way.

Indeed, over the last few years the Maricopa County Charitable Golf Classic has raised a combined total of over $247,000 for the less fortunate in Maricopa County. County employees contribute to the charitable campaign through a combination of donations, payroll deductions, campaign fundraisers and special events. Through the golf tournament, County employees work with sponsors to put on a wonderful event that all enjoy while raising money for Maricopa County residents in need.
