SWING DocPublisher helps organizations ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards, as well as internal company standards.

SWING Software today announced the release of SWING DocPublisher 4 -- policy and procedure management and document publishing software for intranets or the Internet. It enables business users to distribute and maintain internal documentation such as company manuals, training materials, and knowledge bases.

SWING DocPublisher helps organizations ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards, as well as internal company standards.

For IT professionals, DocPublisher can serve as a web-based library of IT policies and best practices, helping the organization adhere to standards for IT governance such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001/17799.

Unlike a traditional document library, DocPublisher automatically converts MS Word documents to Web pages. It empowers users to create and update Web content with their familiar authoring tool - Microsoft Word. End-users need only a web browser to easily browse through the library and read published documents, according to their permissions. The entire document life cycle is supported: creation, review, approval, publishing, notifications, expiration, archiving, new revisions, and user feedback.

The new release brings a number of new features and enhancements, including folder and document level permissions, HTML editor (in addition to Word), dynamic navigation tree with "type ahead" search, export view to .csv, new custom properties, workflow guidelines, and other improvements.

SWING Software offers two deployment options for DocPublisher: on-site (standard license, IBM Lotus Domino server required) or on-demand (hosted).

Pricing and Availability
SWING DocPublisher 4 is available today directly from SWING DocPublisher Site and from SWING Software's authorized resellers. Pricing starts at $995 for one server and one publisher license, which includes an unlimited number of readers. License packs and volume discounts are also available.
