Northwest Dodge in Houston through its exclusive partnership with Hennessey Performance is taking Dodge Challengers and Chargers to the next level. Hennessey is transforming SRT8 (Street Racing Technology) vehicles that come standard equipped with 475hp Hemi V8 engines, upgraded suspensions and braking systems and making them into 600hp plus monster racing machines.
Northwest Dodge took delivery of the first 600hp 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Super Bee back in February of 2013 and demand for the 2013's have been strong. Just this week alone Northwest has received 2 of these modified street machines. The first 2013 Dodge Challenger modified to 600hp and number 8 of the modified Dodge Challengers with 650hp.
Jerry Johnson Manager at Northwest said " These customized autos are for buyers who want to experience more, and to have a car that is unique and fast". Most buyers of these cars can expect about a two week turnaround for a transformation like this. The upgrade is available up to about 800hp.
