DoD’s new Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding needs to be signed by Jan. 1, 2012 for schools to qualify for Tuition Assistance

Our pro-active nature in obtaining this approval demonstrates our continued dedication to our military students.

Grantham University, a 60-year-old institution delivering accredited online degrees to working adult students around the world, has received approval for the Department of Defense’s (DoD) new Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

“Grantham is thrilled to have completed the MOU application process, and received notification of our acceptance,” said Jeff Cropsey, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. “Our pro-active nature in obtaining this approval demonstrates our continued dedication to our military students.”

The new MOU is mandatory for all colleges and universities that provide educational programs through the DoD Tuition Assistance (TA) Program. Institutions without a signed MOU, by January 1, 2012, will no longer qualify to participate in the military TA program until the MOU is signed and certified.

“Since Grantham has received the DoD MOU approval our military students won’t have to worry about an interruption in their education due to locating an alternative tuition source,” Cropsey said.
