Camp Bow Wow – Dallas High Five to Host Splash into Summer “Yappy Hour” and Adoption Event

Help save stray and abandoned dogs on Thursday, June 6, at Camp Bow Wow’s Dallas High Five location. Food and “pup-tinis” for humans will be served, along with treats for dogs.

Camp Bow Wow will host a Splash into Summer “Yappy Hour” and Adoption Event from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Camp Bow Wow – Dallas High Five. Those who attend will have the chance to save stray and abandoned dogs in conjunction with DFW Furgotten Friends Dog Rescue and Basset Rescue Across Texas, Inc.

The “Yappy Hour” will include “pup-tinis” and fun food for humans, as well as special treats for dogs. Pat Corl, a pet photographer from Field and Ranch Photography, will be snapping photos, while Dr. Melissa Johnson, a dog trainer from Thinking Dogs, will be giving advice.

Low-cost vaccinations from mobile veterinary practice will be available. “Pup-a-granate” coolers and a splash pool will be provided by First Community Bank. Lucky Dog Bakery will also be on hand with lots of goodies.

Artist Dorit Rabinovitch will be creating fun sketches and caricatures of pups and their parents.

Camp Bow Wow – Dallas High Five is located at 13730 Floyd Circle in Dallas, just northeast of the High Five Interchange off T.I. Boulevard.
