Firmly anchored in tradition while maintaining an innovative spirit, the family-owned company Domaine Clarence Dillon, founded in 1935, belongs to the handful of producers responsible for Bordeaux’s most prestigious growths, where passion and commitment to quality are seen as essential to every aspect of winemaking, from conception to production. This exacting approach is also reflected in the development of the company’s online presence.

Already an innovator in this area in 1996, Château Haut-Brion was the first of France’s great wine estates to create a bilingual Web site (in French and English). In 1997, a similar site was created by Château La Mission Haut-Brion. Beginning in 1998, translations and adaptations of these two sites became available in Spanish, German, both Mandarin and Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
Both of these trend-setting sites also provided a forum and a search engine when first launched.

In 2001, an initial recasting of the sites grouped them both under the name of Domaine Clarence Dillon. Novel extensions to these sites were also added at this time, including a database of auction information as well as wine merchant contact information and descriptions provided by the dealers and resellers themselves.

In 2004, a second redesign of the site incorporated the latest technologies for database and information management.

In 2010, to commemorate its 75th anniversary, Domaine Clarence Dillon offers all connoisseurs of the finest wines the opportunity to rediscover the spirit of its properties and the quality of its wines by launching three new sites. In order to orchestrate this launch, Domaine Clarence Dillon is working closely with the agency Reflex Paris, widely recognized for its communications expertise in the luxury field (having worked for prestigious brands including Moët & Chandon, Chaumet, the Hôtel Le Crillon, and Louis XIII de Rémy Martin) and its innovative approach to Web-based campaigns.

Domaine Clarence Dillon enjoys the unique privilege of possessing four classed growths having built a reputation without equal: the two great red wines and the two great white wines of Château La Mission Haut-Brion and Château Haut-Brion.
