In an expert survey conducted by finance site GoBankingRates.com, in which major authorities in business and finance discussed the current reputation of the banking industry, Donald Trump provided exclusive commentary stating banks need to improve their transparency with consumers.
When GoBankingRates asked Trump what banks need to do to regain the trust of Americans, he stated, "They need to be more upfront regarding their products and services. People are being bombarded with information and the competition has become fierce, which leaves the customer confused and angry."
Trump explained further, "The only way banks can regain the trust and confidence of Americans is to be clear and honest in their dealings. There’s a lot of skepticism at this point and the damage needs to be repaired."
