Travel Set Go has earmarked $500,000 in in-kind donations to be distributed to charitable and nonprofit groups by year's end. Travel Set Go is a private travel site that offers discounted hotel rates at over 200,000 locations worldwide.

Organizations interested in being considered for the nonprofit donations can apply for the charitable grant at http://www.travelsetgo.com/non-profits.

Travel Set go offers significant savings over prices displayed on well-known online booking sites. Travel Set Go guarantees its hotel rates with taxes included will always be lower than other major travel sites or it will refund 110% of the difference.

The company already has made in-kind, nonprofit donations valued at more than $85,000 in 2014, including a major contribution to the J. Craig Venter Institute in La Jolla, CA. The institute is a world leader in genomic research.

"Our goal as a travel company is to give back to the community and reward donors that contribute to great causes," said CEO Brian Yui.

Other nonprofit recipients of Travel Set Go donations include Sharp HospiceCare, Palomar Mountain Volunteer Fire Department and the Burn Institute.

"We so appreciated your investment in our cause," said Linda Fortney, president of the fire department's board of directors.

Travel Set Go is based in San Diego and is able to display the discount pricing online because it is a private travel site while other sites are only required to display the retail price. VIP members have access to discounted condominium resorts and cruises in addition to hotels. For more information, visit http://www.travelsetgo.com.
