‘‘Double glazing’ is such a commonly used term in the UK and many people from outside the industry may not be aware of triple glazed windows and doors,’ said Matthew Glover.

Conservatory Outlet has launched – a new consumer orientated website which majors on the company’s comprehensive window and door offering.

Separate from Conservatory Outlet’s main website, has been set up to capture a bigger proportion of online leads for windows and doors, on behalf of the fabricators network of installer-customers.

Branding remains consistent with the company’s other websites and marketing literature, but the emphasis has been shifted away from conservatories and orangeries and instead placed on products such as energy rated windows and composite doors.

Managing Director Matthew Glover explained that windows and doors already make up a large part of Conservatory Outlet’s output, and that the investment in the new website simply reflects this: ‘people are often surprised to learn that, consistently, around 70% of the frames we manufacture each week are actually installed as windows, and not as part of a conservatory.’

That’s not to say that conservatory sales are dwindling - because our dealers continue to defy market trends in this respect – but rather that windows and doors have always, and will always form a large part of our business.’

Even so, we felt that an separate website showcasing these products more prominently would help us to generate more enquiries, and help our dealers to further increase their sales of windows and doors,’ he continued.

The Wakefield-based Conservatory Outlet prides itself on its innovative and effective marketing, and a simple Google search for ‘conservatory’ or ‘conservatories’ provides sufficient evidence of the company’s online expertise; its main site ranks number one in the natural listings for both. Efforts will now be focussed on making equally as dominant when homeowners search online for replacement windows and doors.

In addition to double glazed windows and doors, triple glazing is also featured on the new website as Conservatory Outlet looks to encourage homeowners to invest in the most energy efficient products available.
