Many people we asked over social media after the weekend were disappointed with the weather running their cheaper sleeping bags and now wanted to invest in something more durable which they could share with their partner

DoubleSleepingBagShop.co.uk completed a recent examination of the social media trends following the weekend festival wash out found that lots of people are complaining about the amount of ruined items that get left behind after festivals and other events, a recent one being T in the Park in Scotland. The trends found that many people are now looking to purchase double sleeping bags as a more cost effective alternative.
The Double Sleeping Bag Shop probed into their reasoning. A lot of festival-goers said that they loved the idea of a double sleeping bag as it meant that you can keep warm by sharing body heat with somebody, as the cold is a big concern whilst sleeping in a tent especially in the weather this year
Many people with children said they liked the security and safety a double sleeping bag would give them and their children. Families said that it meant their children could climb in with them too if space were an issue.
Many people said that they saw the bags as a long term investment as they could use them for many years to come in a lot of different situations. A large majority of people say that they would find a double sleeping bag more comfortable than a single as it would feel like home away from home. They also said that sometimes it may be more comfortable for a person to sleep on their own in a double sleeping bag as they may not like the constricted ‘mummy’ type feel of some single bags.
Many of those commenting on their new purchases featuring double sleeping bags stated they were more concerned about comfort and durability, looking for something that would last another festival wash out rather than something light and portable.
