Hyatt Regency Miami is proud to be the host hotel for the 2011 Sony Ericsson Open, the nation’s fifth largest tennis competition. An annual tournament for men and women, the Sony Ericsson Open is held each March, and this year will be played at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida.

The event is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the men’s tour and a Premier Mandatory event on the women’s tour. In 2010, a record 300,000 visitors attended matches at the 12-day Sony Ericsson Open.
