San Diego (PRWEB) July 16, 2008 -- One of the biggest success stories in San Diego urban living has become even larger as The Mark recently passed its half-way mark in sales, achieving a major landmark among downtown San Diego luxury condos.
Some 125 of the 244 urban residences had been sold or are in escrow since the premier condominium building in downtown San Diego real estate was completed a little more than a year ago.
According to The Mark's Sales Manager Rosemary Snow, those purchasing the homes to date have cited the building's quality design and construction, a rich array of residential and common area amenities and its much-coveted location on a full-block site in East Village, downtown San Diego's largest urban neighborhood.
A development of the Douglas Wilson Companies, The Mark includes 233 beautifully appointed urban residences in a dynamically styled 33-story glass and metal tower and 11 red brick-and-stucco townhomes on the perimeter.
The full city block development is conveniently located between Island Avenue and Market Street, a two-minute walk north of PETCO Park, the home of the San Diego Padres.

Buyers are choosing from an unprecedented selection of 53 floor plans in one-, two, and three-bedroom designs, ranging from 733 to a spacious 2,430 square feet. The Mark is located at The Mark Lane, between Eighth and Ninth avenues, and Island Avenue and Market Street. The sales studio, off the Ninth Avenue entrance, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday.
