"Thanks to the generosity of our valued guests, nearly 400 of these rolls were sold!"

Amidst the tragedies that have recently happened in Japan with the earthquakes and tsunamis, the family of Dragonfly Restaurants decided to do it’s part and help out. We offered a special relief roll that was $15 and 100% of the sale went to charity. The response from the public has been not only well received but humbling.

Dragonfly Gainesville and Orlando and Rolls ‘n Bowls, its sister quick casual concept have raised $7,224.24 in just 15 days during our promotion. Dragonfly restaurants have always been dedicated to being active sponsors in the community, and so when the recent tragedies transpired in Japan, we had to extend our dedication across the globe.

Our chefs created a roll as a fundraising promotion, and we committed to donating 100% of the profits to the efforts of the Red Cross and the Japanese Red Cross. Thanks to the generosity of our valued guests, nearly 400 of these rolls were sold! When added to the cash donations of other philanthropic patrons and Dragonfly team members, total the dollar amount raised was significant. We would like to publicly thank every one of our patrons and fans who helped to make this possible. The response to our small effort was immensely altruistic and very humbling.

Dragonfly has taken a step further by donating its whole home page to the Red Cross for those who would want to make further donations on their website below.
