Portable Vital Signs Monitor

DRE, Inc., a premier surgical and medical equipment supplier, recently unveiled the DRE Signal EX, a portable vital signs monitor that offers proven monitoring of non-invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, stat-temperature and pulse rate.

The multi-purpose DRE Signal EX vital signs monitor is easy to use and comes in a lightweight, portable package. It is designed for use with adult and pediatric patients, with configurations available for use with neonatal patients in clinics, hospitals and other medical facilities.

The DRE Signal EX features powerful data analysis software, an inner recorder, and a vehicle inverter for seamless use in ambulances. Its large, vibrant LCD screen displays pulse rate, SpO2 data and SpO2 waveforms, and its LED screen displays NIBP measurements.

Weighing only about four pounds, the DRE Signal EX is a portable vital signs monitoring solution for emergency responders and home care professionals. It features a comfortable handle and is available with a kitbag for enhanced mobility, and includes an internal, rechargeable battery that allows up to two hours of continuous, outlet-free use.

Physicians and nurses can rely on the DRE Signal EX for accurate patient analysis by utilizing intuitive software built into the monitor, which stores up to 72 hours of data. The DRE Signal EX also features a built-in thermal recorder that allows healthcare professionals to print real time data.

In addition to the DRE Signal EX, DRE offers the DRE Waveline Pro, an O.R. monitor available with EtCO2 and anesthesia gas monitoring. The DRE Waveline Pro’s anesthesia gas module fits directly into the primary monitor without the need for a separate add-on module—the unit is designed and positioned as a compact, comprehensive package that costs a fraction of the price of comparable patient monitors.

DRE also offers the DRE Maxx Luxx 3, a highly efficient surgery lighting system that provides extremely cool outputs. The DRE Maxx Luxx 3 produces a lux output of over 100,000 with a 39-watt H.I.D. bulb, and features wide range mechanical dimming, a 4,300° K color temperature and a 6.5-inch to 9-inch adjustable pattern.

Surgery centers and anesthesiologists can rely on DRE for affordable anesthesia systems, including the Penlon Prima SP2, which features a touchscreen ventilator, autoclavable absorber and accurate Penlon vaporizers. The Penlon Prima SP2 has advanced, easy-to-use features for maximum patient safety, and provides six ventilation modes—spontaneous, volume, pressure, pressure support, SIMV and SMMV.
