Absolute Automation Inc. is an international distributor of alarm and automation systems based out of Bayfield, ON Canada and Casco, MI USA. Established in 1995 in SW Ontario the company originally started as a small local alarm dealer specializing in installing hard wired driveway alarm systems. Having grown away from that initial market the company has boomed as a leading distributor for many of the industry leading manufacturers of security, automation and control products.
For the spring of 2013 Absolute Automation is beginning a local driveway alarm installation service. The Bayfield, Ontario office will have a new alarm installation division capable of installing driveway alarms for local Huron County residents.
Amy Campbell a member of the Bayfield sales team stated that Absolute Automation is “… very excited at being able to offer local residents these hard wired driveway alarms completely installed. Huron County is a very rural area with many residents having very long and often hidden laneways or entrances. These systems are perfect at alerting home owners to arriving visitors or even for security at remote barns or shops away from the home.”
Kyle McBride who is heading up the new installation division agreed that, “Many residents would benefit from a hard wired driveway alarm system but simply cannot install the systems themselves. With our equipment installation is quick and painless for the homeowner with the entire system hidden from view when it’s done. With hard wired driveway alarms there are no batteries to change leading to maintenance free driveway alarm operation for years!”
Absolute Automation will be offering the Mier DA-500 driveway alarm system for installation. The driveway alarm features a magnetic probe which detects moving metal only. The control panel is installed in the home or building and plugs into a standard 110 VAC outlet for power. With a 24V output as well as dry contact relays the system can be easily tied into any existing security or automation equipment already installed or can have additional lights, sirens etc. added to it.
