Dry Creek Outfitters has set out to create the world’s best, most effective salt saturated tubes that would meet both the competitive toughness required for tournament anglers and the standards of the avid, discerning fisherman.

Dry Creek Outfitters, established by Brad Perkins in 2001, is a family owned business located in Murtaugh, Idaho. “As a tournament angler and tackle retailer, I found it nearly impossible to find a salt saturated tube that met our needs. Motivated by that need, I set out to create the world’s best, most effective salt saturated tubes that would meet both the competitive toughness required for tournament anglers and the standards of the avid, discerning fisherman,” commented Perkins.

Eleven years later in 2012, Dry Creek Outfitters feels that they have accomplished their goal. They have created the largest selection of styles, sizes, and colors of tubes in the industry. The success of their tubes has motivated them to expand Dry Creek Custom Baits to include a variety of other bait styles and colors to complement their line up.

Dry Creek Outfitters’ original 3 ½” Dry Creek series will be adding three new colors to their hand dipped selection: Gold Dust, Black Gold, and Pretty Ugly.

The custom made Dry Creek “Tazer” tube also has had a large customer demand. This tube is new and innovative. The 5” stand up shakey head tube is producing for anglers often when any other plastic won’t. Goby and Hot Black will be the colors added to the “Tazer” line up.

Dry Creek Custom Baits’ 3 ½” platypus have been so popular that Perkins has created a 4 ½” Platypus to complement the 13 successful 3 ½” platypus colors. The Dry Creek’s custom platypus is one of Bassmaster Classic angler Josh Polfer’s favorite bait.

Dry Creek Outfitters wanted the best working Finesse Worm on the market, however, Kalin already had it. “Lucky for us Kalin agreed to build some in our great colors,” explained Perkins. Dry Creek's salty finesse worms come in 10 great colors. “A huge thanks to Adam, Brent, and the good folks at Kalin.”

Throughout the year, Dry Creek Outfitters will be updating and compiling a list of locations that sell Dry Creek Custom Baits, and publishing it on their website for consumer convenience.

Perkins sums up, “We are deeply grateful to the distributors, retailers, and loyal anglers who have supported us. It is largely thanks to angler loyalty and word-of-mouth support that we are looking forward to many more years of growth and success.”
