The Drug Safety Executive Council™ (DSEC™) is hosting a free webinar entitled "Search, Analytics and SEND: Guarding Your Drug Safety Blind Spots." The 60-minute webinar, sponsored by PointCross Life Sciences, is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. ET. Additional information and registration details are available at http://www.drugsafetycouncil.org.

The webinar will feature a panel of industry experts discussing the impact of the FDA’s announcement of its intent to mandate nonclinical data submissions in standardized formats like SEND. The best way for pharmaceutical companies and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to meet this new mandate will be to analyze study data according to the new FDA standards, with particular emphasis on potential safety signals across studies.
