Dubuque, IA (PRWEB) January 10, 2016
A full service insurance firm serving families from offices in Dubuque, IA, Dieter & Associates announces the latest campaign in their community involvement program, teaming up with a local family in support of their efforts to provide help and hope for their daughter Xela Weber, who is in the midst of a three year battle with leukemia. To assist this young girl and her family with medical bills, medications and travelling expenses, donations may now be made at https://www.gofundme.com/ek3mco.
Xela Weber was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia – Type B in August of 2014, when she was just six years old. So began a three year program of chemotherapy and other treatments, which Xela’s doctors and devoted family are hoping will result in a cure around the five year mark. Xela travels to Iowa City once a month for checkups and treatment, as well as taking daily oral chemotherapy at home. Despite struggling with sickness, sleeplessness and other unpleasant side effects, Xela still attends school and keeps up with her life.
“We are happy to be working with this brave family,” said Tim Dieter, owner of Dieter & Associates. “Years of medical expenses and travel would take a toll on anyone’s finances, and they shouldn’t have to worry about all that when the most important thing is to concentrate on getting Xela well. We truly believe in neighbors helping neighbors, so this is a great fit for our new community enrichment program.”
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-60 days, through social media, email and their monthly electronic and print magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Dubuque area. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to showcase the campaign for Xela Weber, and features all the details of the cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://dieteragency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.
Readers who would like to join Dieter & Associates in supporting the Weber family may visit http://dieteragency.com/Joining-Little-Xelas-Big-Fight-Against-Leukemia_25_community_cause and are encouraged to share the page with their own network of friends, family, neighbors and coworkers. Contributors may be acknowledged for their donations through the agency’s monthly magazine. The agency itself will donate $10 to Xela’s family for every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary.
Dieter & Associates is devoted to ensuring the betterment of their community. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part. “We are fully committed to assisting those in need in our community. Every 60-90 days we’ll be selecting a new individual, family or group to receive our support,” pledged Dieter.
