The joint effort between DudaMobile and Google was a no-brainer. Google is on a mission to educate the world on how to GoMo, and DudaMobile’s platform allows businesses to go mobile literally in minutes.

DudaMobile, the do-it-yourself mobile website builder, and Google share a vision: to make all websites mobile-friendly. The companies announce a joint effort today to expand GoMo, a Google-led initiative to help businesses “Go Mobile.” DudaMobile is using its existing technology to power a free mobile website builder, which launches today on howtogomo.com.
The easy-to-use platform allows businesses to convert their regular website into a mobile-compatible site in five simple steps. It also gives businesses access to professional mobile templates, site hosting and premium features, such as click-to-call and mobile maps, at no charge for one year and auto-syncs the mobile site with the regular website.
Previously, DudaMobile and Google worked together on a GoMo-sponsored event in Mobile, Ala. that aimed to “Mobilize Mobile.” More than 450 local businesses built mobile-friendly sites during the event using DudaMobile’s platform.
Dennis Mink, Chief Marketing Officer at DudaMobile, said the success of Mobilize Mobile opened the gate for the collaboration: “The joint effort between DudaMobile and Google was a no-brainer. Google is on a mission to educate the world on how to GoMo, and DudaMobile’s platform allows businesses to go mobile literally in minutes,” Mink said.
The initiative comes at the height of the mobile movement, when businesses must decide to move forward with mobile technology or stay behind. A Google study shows that 95% of consumers use their smartphones to search for whatever it is that they may need, underscoring the importance of why businesses need to go mobile.
"The business-case for mobile has been made,” Jason Spero, Head of Global Mobile Sales and Strategy at Google, said. “The next challenge is understanding how to engage customers on this platform and making a mobile-friendly website needs to be at the top of every business' list.”
Spero’s team at Google helps companies of all sizes develop mobile strategies. His advice to businesses: “Your customers are already looking for your website via mobile; if they have a negative experience, they'll quickly look elsewhere. DudaMobile's technology makes it really easy to mobilize an existing website and show current, and future customers, exactly the information they need on their smartphones," Spero said.
In addition to powering the free mobile website builder on howtogomo.com, DudaMobile will work with Google on future educational events and mobilization efforts around the country.
