DuPage family law firm Mulyk, Laho & Mack, LLC is pleased to announce that Partner, Rebecca A. Laho, has been elected as 2014-2015 Secretary of the DuPage County Bar Foundation (DCBF). Laho has served as a DCBF Director for the past 3 years.    

Established in 1997, the DCBF is the charitable branch of the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA) governed by a Board of Directors comprised of nineteen distinguished DCBA members. The DCBF’s mission incorporates fostering and maintaining the honor and integrity of the legal profession, improving and facilitating the administration of justice, promoting the study of law and assisting deserving members of the DCBA and their dependents who may be ill or incapacitated. The DCBF also serves the local community with direct and monetary support through charitable programs including: “Lawyers Lending a Hand,” grants to local non-profits and law school scholarships.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to serve in a leadership role for the DuPage County Bar Foundation. I am also excited to continue to promote the organization’s strong mission of educating and supporting the local legal community,” says DuPage divorce lawyer Rebecca A. Laho.

DuPage divorce lawyer Rebecca A. Laho graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Political Science. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Laho concentrates her legal practice on family law matters including: divorce, post decree matters, child custody, paternity and adoptions. She also assists clients with legal matters pertaining to estate planning.

Laho represents clients in DuPage, Cook, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties. She is a certified Guardian ad Litem and Child's Representative and has represented the interests of children in numerous cases. She is a past President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. Laho is also a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Justinian Society of Lawyers and American Inns of Court-DuPage Chapter.
