Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine named DuPont in its Top 100 Best Corporate Citizens rankings today.
The 100 Best Corporate Citizens list, now in its 14th year, ranks companies based on publicly available information in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance and philanthropy. The list’s creators assign a 19.5 percent weighting to environmental impact and employee relations, two areas they have identified as key issues for consumers, shareholders and employees.
This is the fourth consecutive year DuPont has been included on the CR Magazine’s Best Corporate Citizens list.
“Societal expectations for corporations like DuPont continue to grow and change. We believe that engaging with others in order to understand and then embed their expectations into our business strategies is critically important to our overall success,” said DuPont Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Linda J. Fisher. “We are now focused on the big global challenges of food security, energy and protection and working collaboratively with key stakeholders globally to bring new solutions to the market.”
“Sustaining a strong, vibrant organization is one of our top priorities in driving business growth. Our robust programs around diversity and inclusion, engagement, and learning and development help foster a vibrant organization. They enable us to attract and retain talented people who are inspired to work collaboratively to solve some of the world’s biggest and ever-increasing challenges,” said Senior Vice President, DuPont Human Resources Benito Cachinero-Sánchez.
CR Magazine is America’s leading voice on corporate responsibility, providing case studies, analyzing best practices and tracking trends in the five primary segments of CR: energy and the environment, risk management, governance and compliance, employee relations and human rights.
