E-LIFE The UK's leading home automation company win three new contracts in as many weeks, whilst were all aware of the UK economic climate one UK company are finding that their on a roll with regards to winning new work
E-LIFE's recent wins have been on luxury residential homes in £1m + market. Whilst lighting control especially Lutron systems are more or less expected home cinema rooms and systems, KNX control systems and Control 4 home control systems are now also common place.
Luxury property builders and owners are now seeing how automation enhances the whole interior. By combining lighting and heating into one system you eliminate the need for separate light switches and thermostats.
Whatsmore you open the door to a whole new range of intelligent touchpads used for controlling the newly combined system, one of our recent installations included black leather clad touchpads.
Whilst the owners and builders of these type of property can be whats known as "credit crunch" proof we have over the last few years seen a more cautious approach as confidence in general has been low due to a knock on effect of the national housebuilders market. Luxury developers have a budget and have rigorously stuck to it
Prior to this we saw the value of a contract value increase due to variations on the original system, so for example a £100K system with variations could increase to £120K.
Our opinion is that these recent wins for full automation systems are reminisant of those prior to the economic downturn and long may it continue.
